FactSet Fundamentals provides over 70 retail industry metrics that now include EBITDAR (Earnings before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, Amortization, and Rent Expense). This metric is calculated as the sum of EBITDA and Operating Lease Expense. The data can be accessed in Excel through the FF_RT_EBITDAR_OPER formula, as well as on the Key Items and Industry Metrics reports. EBITDAR is available on an annual, quarterly, semi-annual, and LTM basis with history going back to 2008.
