The Entity Structure report allows you to easily analyze an entity’s legal and operating structure, making it simple to examine complex connections between subsidiaries and their parent companies. Powered by FactSet’s Entity Data Management (EDM) database, FactSet connects business descriptions, key statistics, and related security information to each entity.

The map view plots entity coordinates, displaying its constituents on a geographical scale and uses colored plots to identify relationships between the ultimate parent (white and blue), direct subsidiaries (green), subsidiaries (gray), disabled subsidiaries(black), and selected entities (orange). Lines are used to represent the paths between the parent entity and its children.

This report also features two additional views, the tree view, which provides a summarized and consolidated overview of an entity’s composition, and the table view, which provides a detailed breakdown of entity levels.
