Expose linkages and hierarchies between entities with FactSet's Entity Data Management

Written by FactSet Insight | Jan 22, 2014

Since 2010 Google has bought on average a company a week. Most recently, on January 13th, Google announced it was purchasing Nest Labs for $3.2 billion. FactSet uses a single entity-level identifier to expose linkages and hierarchies between entities, securities, people, and funds. This allows you to see all subsidiaries that roll up to the parent company of Google. FactSet also provides Legal Entity Identifiers, which were previously only a requirement for U.S. Dodd-Frank but are now also required for EMIR reporting. Leverage FactSet’s Entity Data Management to support a variety of functions including mapping, assessing risk, data management, and more.
