Who’s Good provides in-depth insights into the South Korean market by delivering data from reliable and local sources. Who’s Good analyzes both overall ESG performance and specific ESG incidents at companies to provide comprehensive risk management insights. Their AI-based analysis incorporates international standards and leverages their extensive knowledge of the Korean market.

Who’s Good data is divided between two types of data, ESG Performance analysis and ESG Incident Analysis. Performance Analysis data shows how well companies are prepared to prevent ESG risks. Incident Analysis identifies corporate scandals and incidents from a large universe of news articles and includes aggregate scores and scores on the specific articles/scandals.

Data Methodology

Who’s Good Incident Analysis analyzes over 10,000 articles daily from 95 local and national news media providers within Korea and converts these articles into actionable data by providing the theme of the article (E,S or G) and categorizes the incident as one of 17 ESG issues.

Performance Analysis’ data is sourced from the government as well as company reports and verified by a third party or research institutes.  The research framework complies to international standards and principles, including the UN Global Compact, the International Standard on Corporate Social Responsibility (ISO26000), and the CFA guidelines. Companies are given an overall sustainability score, scores for E, S and G, and issue scores which roll up to the E, S and G scores.
