Mr. Aleksandar Atanasov is a Quantitative Researcher, Alpha Analytics and Optimization Research, at FactSet, based in Sofia, Bulgaria. In this role, he is responsible for research and development of the Systematic Quantitative Research modules of the FactSet Programmatic Environment (FPE). He focuses on algorithms for identification and optimal combination of alpha generating signals. Before joining FactSet, Mr. Atanasov earned a Master's Degree in Physics and a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge.
