Mr. Georgi Mitov is Vice President, Director of Research, at FactSet. In this role, he is responsible for research and development of quantitative analytics modules in the FactSet Programmatic Environment and FactSet portfolio optimizer engine. He has more than 20 years of experience building models and software solutions in the risk and quant space. Prior to FactSet, he was Head of Quantitative Analytics at BISAM and Head of Quant Product Development at FinAnalytica. Mr. Mitov earned a Master of Science in Probability and Statistics at Sofia University and a Ph.D. in Probability and Statistics from the Bulgarian Academy of Science.
