Dr. Kara Voss is a Climate Risk Advisor to Entelligent and a postdoctoral researcher at the UC San Diego School of Global Policy and Strategy. She collaborates with Entelligent as a subject matter expert on climate risk. Her current academic research focuses on aerosol pollution and its impact on food security and human health. She has twice been a delegate to the annual Conference of Parties (COP) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change on behalf of the University of California and is deeply interested in technological and financial climate solutions. Dr. Voss earned her Ph.D. from the Scripps Institution of Oceanography with a dissertation focused on interactions between airborne dust and precipitation in the western United States with consequences for California’s water resources.
