AMECO and two new World Bank datasets now available in FactSet Economics

FactSet Economics now offers three additional datasets: AMECO data, sourced from Eurostat and supplemented by national and international sources, as well as Quarterly Public Debt Statistics (QPDS) and External Debt Statistics (QEDS) sourced from the World Bank.

  • AMECO data: consists of annual macro-economic series that are used in the European Commission Directorate General for Economic and Financial Affairs (DG EFCIN) publications. It includes over 31,000 series and covers approximately 700 economic variables and covers countires and aggregates such as the EU-28, Euro Area, EU Member States, EU candidates, and other OECD countries.
  • QPSD: The Quarterly Public Sector Debt database is jointly created by the World Bank and IMF. It provides detailed public sector debt data for selected developing and emerging market countries. Data is provided where available for the following sectors: general government, central government, budgetary central government, nonfinancial public corporation, and financial corporations. The database is updated in January, April, July, and October each year.
  • QEDS: The Quarterly External Debt Statistics database offers detailed external debt data published by 93 countries that subscribe to the IMF's Special Data Dissemination Standard (SDDS) and General Data Dessemination System (GDDS) participating countries. The database is updated in January, April, July, and October each year.
