Commitments of Traders report now available

Commitments of Traders (COT) data is published weekly by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), the agency that has regulatory authority over the commodity futures markets in the United States. COT data covers futures and options for agricultural, energy and metals commodities, as well as financial products, such as interest rates, stock indexes and foreign currency. You can now access this data in the Commitments of Traders report alongside charts of the net positions for all three trader types, as well as the long and short positions. This report allows you to analyze how these trends have affected price direction over a long period of time, and possibly predict future price movements.
