Companies and Markets

By FactSet Insight  |  December 2, 2014

Launched Monday, the WSJ-FactSet Activism Scorecard captures investor activism and who on Wall Street is profiting as a result.

As described in the Journal's MarketWatch blog, the Activism Scorecard "offers a window into a growing line of work for Wall Street advisers, as activist investors become more influential."

Data pulled from FactSet SharkRepellent includes advisers involved for, or against, activist investors, who typically take stakes in companies and press for strategic, financial or other changes. Rankings are included for Financial Advisers and Law Firms, plus historical data from 2010.
