It’s Peak Earnings Season. Have You Put Your FactSet AI Assistant to Work?

Companies and Markets

By FactSet Insight  |  April 25, 2024

It's the double whammy of peak earnings season: How to be everywhere at once (earnings calls) and how to more quickly analyze this quarter's information (transcripts). Transcript Assistant, powered by FactSet Mercury, both summarizes key elements in earnings transcripts and enables you to search them by typing your own questions (not just a keyword search). It also visualizes call sentiments and provides summaries of the management/analyst Q&A discussions. This brief video demonstrates how these capabilities are utilized, showcasing the tool's efficiency in generating output in real-time.

Transcript Assistant is our first interactive generative AI solution available to all firm types in the FactSet Workstation. We are committed to ensuring data privacy and security across all our solutions. With Transcript Assistant, users can prompt confidently knowing that all queries they enter are confidential and will not be used to automatically train or fine-tune our models. Here are more details on our generative AI governance and security.

The release of Transcript Assistant follows our December announcement of FactSet Mercury, the beta release of a Large Language Model-based knowledge agent to support junior banker workflows and enhance fact-based decision making.
